Workflow Studio Help

How It Works

• Create a workflow by clicking "New Workflow" — give it a name, description, and choose a trigger type.
• Add steps to define what your workflow does — each step can call AI, send notifications, check conditions, or fetch data.
• Configure each step with its AI provider, prompt template, and any input/output mappings.
• Activate your workflow to make it live. It will run based on its trigger (manual, scheduled, or webhook).

Trigger Types

• Manual — Run on demand by clicking the play button.
• Scheduled — Runs on a cron schedule (e.g., every hour, daily at 9 AM).
• Webhook — Triggered by an external HTTP request to your webhook URL.

Step Types

• AI Prompt — Send a prompt to OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, or Perplexity.
• Condition — If/else branching based on previous output.
• HTTP Request — Call any external API.
• Memory — Save/load values across workflow runs.
• Notify — Send SMS or push notifications.
• Delay — Pause between steps.

Tips

• Use the Run History tab to see past executions and debug failures.
• Reference previous step outputs using {{step_name.output}} in prompts.
• Test workflows with the manual trigger first before scheduling.

Troubleshooting

• Workflow not running? Make sure it's set to Active (not Draft or Paused).
• AI step returning errors? Verify the provider API key is set in Settings.
• Webhook not triggering? Check the webhook URL is correct and your server is accessible.
• Steps running out of order? Review the step sequence — they execute top to bottom.
